Motofish racing had a successful cross season and now its on to the road. The boys wanted something a bit more classic to hit the start line with. Hey Troy "Design the logo, kit and come out and ride" This is where work and play become the same thing. A special thanks to Greg and Chris for trusting me with their look.
Richard Tait is one of the most brilliant people I have had the pleasure of working with. He is the founder of boomboom brands. A passionate believer in pursuing dreams, big ideas and the people behind them. He has been a long time supporter of Kung Fu. Have a look at the newly redesigned site. www.boomboombrands.com Special thanks to Don, Ryan, Erin, Brian, Ivy and the man behind the camera Bill Rugen of Motofish images.
I really enjoy creating identities. If they capture the personality of the company or brand - nice job. If they look good on a shirt and people are willing to buy one - even nicer job.
It is cross season in the North West. People ask what is the best part of racing your bike? Answer: Having great friends to do it with and sharing the passion when ever possible. Thank you Team Motofish for another great Sunday.
Clipped in. I have fallen over more times than I can count. No matter how seasoned you are as a rider it is bound to happen. That aside - Speedplay makes amazing pedals. They look funky, which is precisely why they are perfect. A pedal company. Thats all they do and it shows. Fred man, thanks for the opportunity to work this project.
Greg and Chris are Motofish. Arguably two of the very best photographers in the business. Name it. Logo it. Design everything for it. That was the dream assignment. Stay tuned for the Motofish cycling kit.
Been working with Colourslide for a bit now. Really good guys and great sound. These are a few of the presented covers. Thanks Dean and Alex for the opportunity.
Petzl - Look at the hands of every climber and there is a story to be told. Meet them and their personalities generally match their chosen skill. Big walls, bouldering, free climbing. Put it all together and you tell a unique story that stands out from all the other "just show them hucking something stupid hard" and put our logo on it – crowd.
The challenge: Design a timeless package, inside and out that people would be proud to display. And by the way - It will be the first game sold exclusively in Starbucks.
Amber and Joy took a leap of faith and asked if I could create a new identity for their band. This is how it turned out. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. If you have a minute go here and listen. http://www.myspace.com/everlysong
I have had the great pleasure of working with boomboom from the start. The identity came from an idea on a napkin and everything else rolled out from there. Stay tuned for more.
The 2009 Spring/Summer look book for Red Torpedo came out really nice. Special thanks to the Cretins Motorcycle club for use of their club house, bikes and crew. And to Motofish images for killing it.
